Training agreement

Equipment agreement

Most salons will provide employees with essential equipment required for their job, rather than having a general pool of equipment from which items regularly go missing.  This personal ‘ownership’ might include, for example, tweezers or cuticle nippers for beauty therapists or scissors or clippers for hairdressers. 

This document serves a dual purpose:  it clearly establishes that the employee is responsible for the appropriate use of the equipment (this includes, as appropriate, cleaning and sterilising equipment), and it also requires the employee to return the equipment at the end of their employment.

Uniform agreement

In an environment where it is essential to provide staff with uniforms, it is important that the salon owner documents the costs involved and takes the necessary precaution against loss or damage to such items.  In return this will prevent the salon owner having to re coup the costs after the employee leaves or damages the goods given to them. 

This document packs enables you to record the actual cost of items given to employees and gaining the agreement of the therapist to reimburse you if they fail to return them or have caused damage which will require the uniform to be replaced.
